Purpose
The mission of The Baptist Temple View and Spew is to provide opportunity for discusson of our personal values, morals, and ethics in a safe and accepting environment. Following the film, the facilitator will open up dialogue with questions and/or comments.
Discussion Guidelines
Responses are to be in the context of how the film touches the sense of who we are and how we strive for renewal. "What in the film has moved me, challenged me, and/or changed me."
Critical analysis of the film's artistic qualities and intellectual values is not the focus of the discussion.
All responses are to be from the heart, mind and soul of the responder.
A safe environment where individual comments are respected is expected. There are no "right" or "wrong" responses.
A good discussion involves the varied viewpoints of all of the participants. Individuals are encouraged to allow everyone a chance to be heard.
This program is free and open to the public! Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to assure a good and comfortable seat! Here we are! Together we will listen, learn and laugh. Be a part of this exciting, unique experience for personal exploration, growth and development.
