God Time! All The Time!

God's Guiding Us Toward a Guiding Vision

October has arrived and the Vision Team continues their part: prayerfully fashioning a Guiding Vision from our congregational discernment. Between now and Thanksgiving their work and our ongoing discussion will fine tune God's vision and our vision. Then, We Celebrate!

With a Guiding Vision discerned and affirmed, we will begin, in winter, 2007, to name and claim the hands-on ways we'll live it all. An all Church Event will serve to set this process free. Then, We Celebrate!

Spring and summer of 2007 will keep us naming and claiming both new and current programs that match our Guiding Vision. During this time our Vision will feel fuller, more complete, and very challenging. Pragmatically we will begin to look ahead into 2008, discerning how and where our financial resources best support this "new" ministry, and discerning the same for our Bylaws and Constitution.

"God Time! All The Time!" has become more than a slogan or catch phrase, but a Way!

Discernment takes faithful and caring effort, but that's what we are up to here. A Guiding Vision has presented itself. It's not fully formed; we will prayerfully fashion it in the coming months and into next year. Did you have a part? Do you want a way into this Transformation? Begin by attending worship on Sunday mornings. Worship connects us, gives us something all at once to consider and feel. It's still the place, for now, where you can hear and contribute, first hand, in discerning and doing Baptist Temple's Guiding Vision.
